Financial Opportunities for InventorsInventors may seek U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) funding for energy efficiency or renewable energy technologies through three routes: the Small Business Innovation Research program (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer program (SBTR), the Advance Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), or through an unsolicited proposal. The SBIR/SBTR programs are operated by federal agencies that have substantial R&D budgets, through a set-aside mechanism tailored for competitions among small businesses only. For more information, see the Small Business Innovation Research Web site at Small Business Innovation Research. ARPA-E was established within DOE under the 2007 America Competes Act. ARPA-E's mission is to fund projects that will develop transformational technologies that reduce America's dependence on foreign energy imports; reduce U.S. energy-related emissions (including greenhouse gasses); improve energy efficiency across all sectors of the U.S. economy and ensure that the United States maintains its leadership in developing and deploying advanced energy technologies. For more information see the ARPA-E Web site at Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E). Inventors may also seek funding by submitting an unsolicited proposal to EERE. For more information, see the unsolicited proposals page on this Web site. |

The Petition
We the people in order to preserve our nation in these times of economical hardship and dept. We propose a new tax.The penny tax. Every transition that is done in the U.S.A via debit cards or cash a penny is charged.Eliminating the penny as a tax and saving the cost to produce the penny. Taking all the penny's off the currency the metals and the cost to produce would create,1 billion dollars alone the first year.10 years of this tax would amount to 1 trillion dollars.Creating Smart Solar Freeways, Concrete mixed with glass and rubber from recycled materials, like from Somalia, and all the tires that the world has no where to dump. Imagine all the free material. These free ways would be power plants freeing us from oil. Lets imagine all the revenues. Average American spends $2500 usd a year. Including Trains, trucks and Government vehicles.1 Billion a year. This would cost America 150 Billion in 25 years but the jobs and the benefits would pay off in 25 years for a dept free and oil free America.

Dear Gloria
Ever since you walked into my life 22 years ago.I fell in love. There hasn't been a night when I have gone to sleep where you were on my side or on my mind, and it's all because of you. That we have three Blessed and beautiful children.
Honey, I am glad that you came into my life. I have always wanted the love of my life to be understanding, loving, caring, and faithful. I wanted someone who would accept me for who I am. I know that I’ve found that person in you. My heart told me that my princess was there when I first said hello to you at Casa de Modesto.
I didn't have to think twice I knew I wanted you to be my wife. I knew that you were the perfect match for me. I don't think that there is, or that there ever could be, anyone better than you out there for me.
I love you with my whole heart. I have never trusted anyone the way I trust you. Sometimes I even doubt myself, but I know I will never doubt you because you are my true love. I know deep down inside that you will never break my heart or let me down in any way.
Thank you for everything, honey. I pray to God every day to bless you with everything you deserve. I will love you until the end of time.
Always and Forever Yours,Husband John Valadez. 12/7/2010P.S Chris,Johnny, and Alyssa I love you guys.Mom and Dad are very proud of you guys.

Interactive Electronic Jewelry
How would you like your bracelet display a bunch of text, the text you desire, the text you love? If Biju Neyyan is a designer who has some clout in the future, you can bet that this project, “eJOUX” will bring that functionality to your wrist and neck. This project consists of a Bluetooth device to which you upload your own specific design, animation, or functionality. One screen all around the band is what it is.Planting Paper Flowers
How many times during the day in the dead of winter do you just sit there and think, gosh! I wish I could plant a flower right now! Well now we all can! Sandra Bautista’s designed a collection of flowers on paper that, with a bit of rolling and basically a simple cup or vase, you’ve got a loverly flower any time of the day!Throw The Perfect Christmas Party
Is there a recipe to throwing the perfect Christmas Party? YES! You take a bunch of merry people, toss them with good tidings and garnish with loads of love & cheer. Not to worry, because here are some ideas that’ll make your holiday shindig a success.Book Reading Made Haptic And Easy For The Blind
The Haptic Braille is a mouse-like device that’s capable of translating ordinary text into braille on its surface. This means that the blind can read virtually anything the sighted can. The technology uses optical character recognition. Simply skim it over any text and wait for the haptic feedback. I like how you can pocket and carry it over to the library. Just imagine how many books literally become available at your fingertips. Splendid!Lamps and Geometry
Here’s a quick design tip. If all else fails, turn it 45 degrees. Try it with anything you do because it may just work. Lamp 45 by Jaren Goh is a simple, unpretentious desk lamp engineered from aluminum and steel mesh. Simply by turning the mesh cage and bulb socket 45 degrees, he’s created visual interest. My eye is drawn to things slightly askew in a world that demands uniformity. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I’m loving the raw geometry. If you hate it, turn your head 45 degrees then everything will balance out.Why Do So Many Designs or Products Look The Same?
Ever wonder why so many products look the same? On the surface, it may appear designers have found the ideal form factor so there’s no need to change anything, but there’s more than meets the eye. The reasons are deeply rooted and the key to breaking the mold is to first understand why. Hit the jump! Each Hour By A Cyclist
To pay homage to cyclist Graeme Obree’s amazing career, Mr. Jones Watches just released “The Hour” watch. Each hour of the day is revealed by a cutout with words that have particular meaning to Mr. Obree. For example, the 12 o’clock position reveals the numbers 52.713 which is the distance Obree covered to win the world cycling championship in 1995. Inspired by Obree’s flare for the unconventional, the watch uses design cues normally reserved for children’s watches. It’s playful, allows for intricate illustrations, yet very professional and functional. For Scenes Above And Below The Sea Level
UNDERABOVE is a dual-lens buoy-style camera that can take pictures of the underwater happenings and above the water happening, at the same time. The idea is to experiment and add more dimensions of picture taking while at sea. The clever design incorporates air in the top-half of the body and water in the lower half, to help it stay afloat. An LCD screen gives you a quick preview of the shots taken, and a timer facilitates self-portraits as well. One Component Wind Power
How would you like your very own take-it-home apply-it-yourself wind power generator? How about a whole array of them? This is a design that’s just that, take it home, unpack it, screw it into the wall, connect it to whatever battery you’ve got that can hold generated power, and let it rip! This design is made up of blades, the generator, a telescopic shaft (so that the fan can be extended or “away”, electric power plug, and switch. With an array of 15 of these fans, you can power a household of four people for a month.Exclusive For The Boys! Gift Ideas For Under $25!

This means the left earbud, right earbud, central module and line out are all independent and replaceable when busted. The central module works as a remote control for the player and features basic functions like volume, play and stop. This module is proposed to come in two modes: basic and Bluetooth. Obviously the Bluetooth one connects to the player wirelessly!Virus Beware, The Spuit Is Here
