99ers Unemployment Extension Tier 5 Benefits After BLS Unemployment Figures

BLS unemployment figures and unemployment extension tier 5 benefits. Unemployment extension by November 30? I sure hope so. In the midst of the holiday season, the unemployment benefits emergency extensions set by Congress will expire. In addition, millions of Americans are currently without jobs and the situation doesn’t appear to be getting any better.

The Americans Want to Work Act S3706 would add 20 weeks of benefits on to the already existing 99 weeks of benefits. Passing an extension of tiers 1-4 along with a tier 5 extension would be more than just ideal.Paying too much for options tr 

However, there’s currently no indication that that will take place. The unemployment extension remains somewhat elusive.
Small business owners are suffering, too and the Americans Want to Work Act would help them to create jobs and help whittle away some of the unemployment problem.

Job creation and unemployment extensions are the only way to help our flailing economy.

The unemployment extension tier 5 99ers bill is needed. The BLS notes that the jobless situation isn’t any better. Government jobs went down by 159,000 in September, mainly because of temporary Census jobs going away. Many state governments are shedding payroll to meet budget, and jobless data doesn’t affect furlough days observed by many governments.Local Moms Make $77/hr

Congress is to blame for the job situation and when the benefits run out after next month, right at the beginning of winter, I Pray for all in need. Our Country has gone to the dogs because of EVIL GREEDY POLITICIANS that will reap their judgement from God. And where is Farm-Aid, Aids Aid, Haiti Aid, etc. Wonder why all the High and Mighty Celebritys are not coming to OUR AID and sponsoring Awarness Concerts and such on OUR BEHALF ?????

From middle class to poverty. 99ers, especially those older ones 50-60 yrs who are discriminated, are now going broke. They have nothing left, and are or will be homeless. The 62+ can get social security, but try living on social security after you exhusted all your savings. The only hope for tier 5 is empathy from congress, and optimism that jobs will come back. Otherwise, 99ers are doomed by the millions. Dont they understand that you dont have to take kill a life to take away a life. Vocalocity's Affordable & Reliable Phone System!

Buschy is to blame for jobs being gone. Buschy deregulated the auto industry and they moved to China and Mexico. Buschy deregulated banks and our finical system collapsed. Buschy deregulated housing and it became corrupt beyond our imagination, and collapsed. Their went our home building jobs. Buschy got rid of 91% of our southern boarder guards and here came the illegals. Buschy deregulated our finical system, again and we got Enron, Madeoff, ect. Did you live in America the last 10 years ?

Yes I lived here in the South all my life. Went to work for a great company when I was 19 and worked there until I was 44 cause, BAM they shut down. So after nearly 25 years of dedication to one company, I can not get anybody to hire me. I sure would have thought a person with over 24 years of hard work and dedication to one company would "stand for something", but I guess not. I also had near perfect attendance and excellent performance reviews the whole time employed, So what gives? Heck, I aint dead yet, I'm only 45 but being treated as a has-been everywhere I try to find work. But you know what? After saying all that, I Pray that all you other folks out there find a job and prosper for your familys. God Bless All Of You, things will get better one of these days. Mark

I am 59 years old and a 99ers. i paid my dues. Man i am losing my condo of thirty yeas and moving in to my brother home. is this the future i went to college for, and worked 30 years of hard work, ending up living at my brother home. Something is not right in this picture.

You are 59 years old. Too young to receive social security, too old to compete against the "fresh blood" who will be employed, while employers turn their back on you. 99ers in your position have their back against the wall. Tier 5 would have made a huge differnce in your life with times as they are. But the sad reality of how our congress works is all to clear. They cannot feel your desperation, and he heartbreak of falling into poverty. You say something is not right in this picture. Truth be known, the picture is a vile and ugly image of what America has become to it's citizens. And this is only the beginning. Millions of families will suffer. At this point who is to blame is insignificant compared to the consequenses that need to be fixed. We have to hang in there. If we give up....well.... '

The way the economic is will a tier 5 extension be enough !?! of course we cannot live on extensions however, look really hard at how long it is taking for job recovery to actually happen...really....seriously....what is the answer...after we get a tier 5, most likely we will need a tier 6....just putting it out there because it surely looks bleek as hell for us.

The thing that is upsetting. Is that when someone comes from somewhere else they are given food stamps and whatever else the need. but the people that have worked all their whole lives here. they are thrown to the side. It would be nice to have people care about there own for once.

What they should do and should have done a long time ago is: 1. Declare all Reps and Senators who voted for Nafta and Gatt to be traitors nullifying those treaties. 2. Seizure of all properties, bank accounts, assets, and penny jars of all above. 3. If that don't add up to the harm that they've done see what you can get for them on the slave market in Indonesia and if you can't get enough for them hold a lottery for those who want to be on their firing squads. 4. Organize a 40 and over unemployed agency and let these people form their own companies at minimal interest to compete against these slave driving corporations. Once formed into every major market the rest of the people that work for these corps will flee to a real company to work for. What the people lack is organization. The government - supposedly the government of the people - is terrible at everything but can organize so that these people who are individualized can be brought together to consolidate their talents and hard work so that they can compete against these Corporations of Slavery and defeat them through their organization.

The current unemployment figures are an understatement from the real figures. If they take the 5 million 99ers who stop claiming their benefits and then add that to the 450,000 new filing's per week, plus the other 5 million unemployed on tier 4,ready to expire you get 15 million people. How can they ignor this emergency unemployment extension. I don't feel like the Truth is being told to the public. It's like they are trying to cover up mass hysteria thru out the financial markets. I think the words Political Cover up are the best chosen words. There is no blame game left. They will act on the extensions after the elections, because it is such a sore subject. They try to do a Magic act it's called "Miss Direction". They mind believes what the eyes sees. They do it well. To all the 99ers you will prevail,to the Tier 4 unemployed you will prevail also. Senators stop the Magic act! No more smoke and mirrors. Just people on hard times. Invoke the 1970 EMGERGENCY UNEMPLOYMENT ACT, and grow a set of balls and vote for the Tier extension.

I am a 99 weeker and I have lost all my benefits, what can I do now no way to pay my mortgage, or anything else. I have went through all my savings and now I am at my wits end. The Senate needs to wake up and help the american people because what comes around goes around. God is watching and believe me he will get you in the end. So think before you deny the american people help.

What kind of fool loses a condo they have lived in "30 years"? 30 years is how long a home loan payoff usually is. Did you refinance so you could purchase a gas guzzling SUV? You are a financial miscreant who deserve what you got. You should only be paying condo dues, electricity, and taxes on that condo. If you couldn't pay that, you should have sold it prior to losing it. Something is wrong with any moron who is 99 weeks into unemployment benefits and still has a house. SELL YOUR HOME IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD IT! Get the mortgage company to take a short sale if you are just underwater a little. If you are heavily underwater, go ahead and declare bankruptcy. Average 99ers must be idiots.

Charles Johnson I was thinking the exact same thing. Any house purchased 30 years ago has appreciated considerably and should be paid off by now. To lose a house after 30 years means it must have been used as collateral for the owners good times. I am a 99er, but have no sympathy for someone who lived beyond theie means and now needs Uncle Sam to rescue them.

No what happened was he is loosing his house after 30 years because when he lost his job, he used his savings to survive.When he ran out of savings his house was his only asset so he took another mortgage on it.Now he can not find work his benefits have expired his savings are gone and he can not satisfy his new mortgage so he is about to loose his home.Many people are good responsible people who have payed into a system that will help any and everybody accept those who actually footed the bill.The sad part is that the people who payed into the system the majority of their lives are often portrayed as lazy or irresponsible when that is far from the case

Our voices are not being heard by the Main Stream Media because we are asking the wrong people for help! The President, the Senate, Congress. These people don’t care unless helping us benefits them or their party’s election! Contacting the news organizations does not work, they only report what their told to! I suggest writing, calling and E-mailing celebrities that have nightly access to America’s main stream media to speak out on our behalf. I apologize in advance if you see this request repeated in other blogs, however I am posting it everyday in as many places as possible. With your help please repost. I’m asking for others to help in asking any celebrity you know to mention 99ers or Tier 5 in any interview the may have with the media. I’m sure they have unemployed friends, family or someone they know that that has run out of money and hope! If Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan spoke out for us or wore a 99ers, Tier 5, T-Shirt this would be on every news station repeatedly all day long. There are people like Angelina Jolie, Annie Lennox, Bono, Brad Pitt, Ellen DeGeneres, Elton John, Eva Longoria, George Clooney, Jackie Chan, Denzel Washington, Madonna ,Paul McCartney, Scarlett Johansson, Sheryl Crow, Ozzy Osbourne, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, and many others that support important causes. Also contact any fan club you may belong to, and have all kids Twitter, Face book or My Space their friends, just have them mention 99ers or Tier 5, and have the media question what are these people talking about? We are in a crisis situation just as important as other headline news such as The Miners trapped in Peru, the War in Pakistan, Anti Gay attacks, Haiti, PETA, Habitat For Humanity, We may soon require some of these services ourselves without a Tier 5 Extension such as The Red Cross, Save the Children, Homelessness, Human Rights, Hunger, Mental Challenges, Suicide Hotlines.

Sad to say that we cannot help our own, but yet we run, and I say run, to help other countries. Is this what I brought children into this world to witness, politicians need to look at us first and ask themselve can they sleep at night, b/c I am pretty positive most people here in the US are having a hard time with that. Help us for a change.

( have not had a check since March 28, 2010. I am a 99er and they will not give us a Tier 5 what do they think will happen to economy if no one has money to buy anthing. we are losing our homes,apts. sleeping in cars and this is AMERICA ANDY YOU OBAMA ARE THE GREAT PRESIDENT

I am a 99ers(gosh where did that term come from) anyway I am 64 a vet unemployed out of benefits and damn it washington I can not find a god damn job, not even part time cause of age and ablity to lift of stand for long periods of time due to a back injury gotten in the military that the gov will not pay for,,,,GREAT PLACE AMERICA When will someone in D C wake the hell up befor we go to hell in a hand bag(and believe me we are more than headed in that direction) I have never seen such buracratic B S in my entire life someone had better open eyes and know where we are headed, I do not care if its dem v?s republician of obama V/s congress or the senate.
